Interact for the edition of the Roma Fiction Fest 2013

The 2013 RFF involved Interact as its APT (Television Producers Association) technological partner for web communication and content management of the website romafictionfest.org .

After the edizione 2012, during which the APT launched a process of innovation in online communication involving the restyling of the website and the RFF logo, this year Interact was requested to integrate new features by extending the information architecture adding new sections and enhancing content management.

Interact developed an application whose target it was to enhance and rationalize broadcasting contents. The purpose of this application was the full synchronization between the streams of approval and broadcasting of contents. This feature offers greater broadcasting autonomy and broadcasting management by the festival personnel.

The Sync application has further brought about enhancements in managing and organizing textual and multimedia content via DAM (Digital Asset Management), a key application module for this event as it enables granular management at various press release levels, crediting online and multimedia contents produced during the festival via a reserved area.

The purpose of the current edition of the RFF website is to provide greater information to an ever growing number of users online through the availability of both downloading as well as browsing online the catalog of the VII edition that was only available on paper previously. The catalog will contain all the tabs and information about both the events in the programme as well as the visitors. An application has been used for broadcasting the catalogue online so that users may browse a pdf file or a mobile device.

A section dedicated to previous editions has also been added where it is possible to view the photo gallery and the reviews regarding competitions and prize giving.

In the same manner as in the previous edition, the RFF Website is integrated onto a host platform in cloud computing offering enhanced performance and reliability during the 5 festival days during which high access peaks are envisaged.

As a consequence, RFF has now reached a high level of international fame by combining the traditional communication with technology, web design and online communication, thus offering their users a more interactive, modern seventh edition of the festival.
